Baseball season has started

So William is getting ready (Neifi decided to join in too).

A sign that it is baseball season in our house - the boys watching intently together.

I decided to do a test with dairy since William is at the age when some kids grow out of their sensitivity. It failed and Mia happened to be running around my feet at the time and got nailed. She got most of the spitup off but didn't realize that her ear had been hit too. All three of us needed baths after that incident.

I'm sorry the dairy test didn't go better. Do you want me to dog sit next time you give it a try?!?!

Thanks for the offer, though it is easier to clean spitup off of a dog than off of the carpet. If only she could dart and block all kinds of spills - that would be an amazing dog.

Steve would be so proud of the Cubs hat! He told me last night that he will do whatever he can to make sure that Josiah won't like the Yankees like I do!!

I must say it again...William is so adorable! He looks like both of you. The games must get them both fired up!

Lorena, you like the Yankees? They are like baseball evil. Just send Josiah our way and we will have him rooting for the good guys.

To be fair William and Brad do really get into the games but the length of time gets the best of them (especially on Sunday afternoons) and they inevitably end up napping around the 6th or 7th inning.

Just so you know, I am a Yankee fan only because I am a Derek Jeter fan. That obsession started before I met Steve and to be honest it has dwindled a lot since then. I just use my Yankee fanship to tease Steve since he gives me such a hard time about Carolina.

I see.
The Cubs don't really have those kind of fans. The photos on their roster prove it.

i remember when brad told me that he couldn't wait until william would wear baseball caps! that day is here!

enjoy it, because if he's like isaac (and so far, it seems like he just might be), the hat wearing will come to an end. he can't stand hats - both on himself and on me or derek.

your boy is so cute. i want him to be a babygap baby. :)
