A Quick Recovery

This week marked William's first bout with sickness, a little head cold. And though it didn't seem to bother him as much as I had expected he has recovered and decided to live life to the fullest. That means shortened naps and an unbelievable fervor for activity. He spent almost all day today practicing pulling up onto objects and letting go, trying really hard to walk. And when that didn't work as planned he wore his knees red crawling on the carpet. Sure, it wore his mom out but the animals were the ones who suffered the most...
Oh, and if you are thinking "not more William stuff" scroll to the last photo. It can be enjoyed by everyone (except maybe people in our local government).

Noisy musical toys always have the reputation for making parents crazy. I haven't found that to be the case yet but Telecia is a different story. Observe her look of complete annoyance as she tries to nap just a few feet away from the book that plays hey diddle diddle, the crab who counts and a hand drum.

Neifi has become accustomed to flopping down close to William without having to worry. He is oblivious to William's new lease on life.

Neifi isn't sure how he is supposed to react but patiently waits until he can't bear it anymore.

And he's off with William close behind.

Mia decided to crawl under a table to see if she could find some stray bits of food. Her brilliant plan hit a hitch when she got stuck.

The other evening we just randomly happened to stumble on this. It was the notables in our local government talking about the great educational institutions in our area, etc. You have to love the typo - the irony is amazing.
